- Once upon a time there was a boy & girl who loved each other very much.
- But their parents didn't want them to marry!
- You can't marry each other!!
- So they decided to run away at night to get married, leaving a ball of string behind so they can come back.
- They went through a forest, down a side of a mountain, and over a river to find their new home.
- After many years, they felt it was ready to go back home.
- OH NO THE STRING BROKE!!!
- That's when it happened, the string that was supposed to bring them back home broke! That's how the people-of-the-string came to be
