- The asteroid seared through the sky at more than 40 times the speed of sound. The dinosaurs didn’t have a chance of survival with the climates and destruction to follow
- About 66 million years ago dinosaurs happily roamed the earth. The earth was covered in luscious green plants, flowers and insects of all variety’s. There were hundreds of species of animals, critters and dinosaurs.
- Out in space a massive asteroid started soaring towards earth
- An asteroid roughly 25 km wide hit Earth and
- The plunge into the Earth's crust caused tsunamis higher than any modern day skyscraper , earthquakes and wild fires.
- The soot from fires, combined with the dust from the impact, blocked out the Sun's rays and plunged Earth into a long, dark, wintry spell.With all the vegetation gone, the herbivores have nothing to eat. If the herbivores die then the carnivores have nothing to eat. Which leads to the extinction of dinosaurs. By Taylor, Ava and Annabel
