- In his story Harrison Bergeron, Kurt Vonnegut points out that a society with everyone equal would be unreal and not as perfect as it was idealized. This erroneous idea of a utopian society would cause more harassment than the ones established nowadays. The author exemplifies that by emphasizing the weight carried by the characters and how they feel.
