- An a living thing moves has mechanical energy because it moves. They get their energy for eating, like this bird here. and the plant gets its nutrition from photosynthesis which is chemical energy. The sun makes that happen, and the sun by itself is electromagnetic energy

- Electrical: flow of charged particles or electrons. Electric charges can exert forces that do work
- This girl left the lights off in her room, when the lights are on they exert light and thermal energy. light energy speaks for itself, but the light also gives off warmth which is thermal energy.
