- Over 4000 years ago, Ur, Southern Iraq: Abram has just destroyed his father's idols while his father was away selling his other idol's. Abram has a strong attitude against the belief in many Gods...
- Abram, why are all my idols destroyed except for the largest?
- Nonsense! Idols are not powerful!
- I am not happy son, not happy at all!
- The biggest idol destroyed them all, Father!
- Well why do you worship them, Father?
- A while afterwards... Abram is reaching his seventies and God calls upon him
- Anyone who blesses you will be blesses and anyone who curses you will be cursed.
- Abram, go and leave your city of Ur and your fathers house! You will reach a promised land for you and your descendants.
- Yes, God. I will leave with my servants, possessions, wife Sarai and nephew Lot.
- We will continue the journey with God's help through the desert!
- Do not worry, your wife Sarai will soon have a baby boy and you will become famous and live a long life. Your descendants will become kings of these nations! You will have as many descendants are there are stars in the sky!
- We finally arrived in Canaan! One problem though, Sarai and I do not have any descendants. We do not have any children and we are getting old!
- I will change your name, Abram, to Abraham, meaning "king of the nations". Sarai, you will be now Sarah.
- Thank you very much God, for all you have given us!
- And the promised land grew in population and developed and Abraham's story lives on today...
