- Zaroff forced Rainsford to play the game and be hunted. Rainsford was also a clever, skilled hunter and was able to evade Zaroff. Rainsford was more of a challenge than Zaroff thought Rainsford and Zaroff face off in a deadly game of cat and mouse.
