They enter at different times, but from the same place –the old Wardrobe. They all meet Mr and Mrs. Beaver who invites them to lunch. The Beavers along with the three children set off on a long and perilous journey tofind Aslan – the King and Lord of Narnia – and rescue Edmund. Together, the children join forces with Aslan's army against the heartless and wicked White Witch.
  • Part of the story I like the best
  • I loved how Lewis created Narnia, a land of magical creatures and adventure. My favourite part in the book was when Aslan was un-stoning the statues and everything came to life. It made me feel as if all the un-stoned animals were right there in front of me, beckoning me to join them.
  • Part of the story I like the least
  • I didn't really like the part where the witch was hurting Aslan the lion because Aslan did nothing wrong! I was also surprised when Edmund left his brothers and sisters to go and tell the white witch about them.
  • Recommend this book to others ?
  • I really enjoyed reading this book. I liked the elements of child imagination mixing with the real world when Lucy went through the wardrobe into Narnia, and how she never stopped trying to persuade the other children that it was real. It was especially heart warming when they all found out that there was really a magic land through the wardrobe, later meeting beavers, lions and ,of course, the witch controlling Narnia. It was an excellent book,I would recommend this book to someone who love a book that is packed of adventure and excitement! I think this book is suitable for all ages.
