- Hello! I am Queen Elizabeth I of England.
- Queen Elizabeth I was very Protestant, while King Phillip II was very Catholic.
- I am King Phillip II of Spain.
- Because they shared different religions, they had many problems with each other. Phillip eventually decided that he was done with Elizabeth and decided to go for her navy.
- I went to war with England was because I hated that Elizabeth was Protestant.
- No I did not!
- Oh please! You went to war with me because you were offended that I rejected your marriage proposal. I don't know what made you think I was gonna say yes.
- Everyone, hurry up!! I want people boarding those ships the second we come in contact!
- Nonsense! We are winning this battle! We are the Spanish Armada for Christs sake!
- The Spanish ended up losing the war because their ships were too big. This disrupted their whole plan. The English could easily get by them and attacked them with everything.
- Our ships are too big! We can't get close enough to board them. The English just keep maneuvering out of the way.
