- Hazel Grace is a 16-year-old who has thyroid cancer, Augustus is 17, he had osteosarcoma, cancer in his leg. Augustus (also known as Gus) had to get part of his leg cut off.
- CLIMAX
- Hazel and Gus met a support Group in a church basement. The problem is that Hazel and Gus both (had) some sort of cancer. Hazel struggles with thyroid cancer and doesn't have good lungs and Gus suffered from leg cancer and he had to get part of his leg removed.
- Falling Action
- When Hazel and Gus get closer Hazel tells Gus about “An Imperial Affliction” (AIA) Hazel's favorite book. Somehow when Hus reads the book he reaches out to the AlA writer Peter Vanhouten. Peter Van Houten tells them to go to Amsterdam and visit him. Of course they say yes so they fly over there and meet him
- Resolution
- But then as one of the last days, Gus tells Hazel that he had cancer again.
- Gus’ g-tube gets infected while going to speedway. He immediately called hazel and hazel came and called 911. Gus got surgery and was better but he still had cancer.
- A Couple days later, Gus died. They had a funeral for him, alot of people where there including Issac his best friend and Hazel his Girlfriend
