- Good morning students, there is going to be a new student coming into our class today to visit. She comes from south Africa.
- Here she is, her name is Nandina, Nandina would you like to introuce yourself?
- Hi, my name is nandina, i come from south africa, i am african and 8 years old.
- I live in a house with my brothers and sisters, i share one room with my baby sister, we have a pet dog and 2 birds, 3 rabbits, and 2 penguins, I have a lot of animals because where i live there are so many different type of animals so i cant choose 1!
- At home and school, I wear a long skirt and aprons because they are apart of my tradition and have a beautiful print or embroidered fabrics.
- When I was growing up, I went for walks with my brothers and sisters. WE use to come across lots of roaming dogs, cats, rabbits and we would hear so many birds chirping and we even saw some penguins. I couldn't chose what animal I wanted so I decided I wanted many.
- My favorite food is definitely Cape Malay Curry, I have it every Friday night, My favorite desert is Malva Pudding.
