- Good day! I am Eliza Lucas.
- Communication is an important part of our daily lives.
- But did you know that there are different types of communication model? In fact, we can relate to every each one of it as we communicate everyday!
- One example of it would be the time would be our trauma. Our trauma is a way for us to communicate towards ourselves as we deal with our bad experiences. Just like when there were times wherein I almost drowned as a child. Ever since that incident, I could never go near places where I could drown.
- This experience of mine is an example of Dance's Helical Model of Communication. It is continuous, cyclical, and it was influenced by time and experience.
- That's just one example of an application of a model of communication in our lives. This is why it is important to study the model of communication, so that we can understand the components and its relationship in a process of communication.
