- Thebes is suffering as if he is cursed. The people have to ask oedipus for help.
- something s causing the misfunction and needs to be found ans esplicted from thebes.
- apollo commands that they find laisusus killer. the murder of the king is what brought the fortune.
- Creon says he has power and doesnt want to be king because its too much power.
- oedipus grows worry when he hears the death of flouis murder. he asks to speak to the arriving witness who left when he found out that oedipus was to be the king.
- the story is the several people killing the king not one.
- the king and the queen of ocurith are oedipus parents. so he thinks they tell him that people who say he is not their son are lying.
- oedipus always suspected they were not their parents so he leaves when he is told by apolo. he will kill his father and marry his mother thats when he travels.
- oedipus did kill a man and his consequences where three rode met while traveling to thebes. he worries this was lauis.
- is the witness says there was more than one attacher then oedipus is cleaned they wait for the witness that was with the king when he died.
