- These Muslims are trying to come into our city and build a new mosque. We're here at city council to stop them!
- We need more churches not mosques
- What issues do you have with a new mosque?
- These Muslims come in with their foreign beliefs and they pray to a false God. We need to uphold good Christian values here in the U.S.
- Ma'am, I don't mean to be rude, but it sounds like you are Christian. Is that correct?
- Yes, I am a proud Christian, and we need more of Jesus in this world, not Muhammad.
- Did you know that we Muslims also believe in the Gospel of Jesus? We see him as a Prophet, and we believe that he will come back at the end of times.
- Come, let me bring you to our mosque, and show you why we want to expand!
- You believe in Jesus! I did not know that. What else?
- Not only do we believe in Jesus, but we also believe in Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, and more. We believe in an afterlife, and we worship the same God as you do!
- Wow, I am so sorry. I did not realize just how similar we are. It's just that I see you all in the media and I hear terrible things.
- Don't worry, people seek to paint a single picture of what Islam is. But we are a very diverse group of people. And we are just hoping to practice our religion in peace.
