Judson! You're not taking a drink at ten o'clock in the morning, are you?
Conflict
Rising Action
Judson and his wife are at a lake cabin getting ready to leave, a man named Alec, the groundskeeper is down the road, who is going to look after the cabin. Judson is looking at his wine cupboard. His wife walks in.
Story Climax
Judson starts putting some stuff away for the winter, and to his surprise, someone has stolen about half a bottle of his whiskey, which is locked away.
Falling Action
Judson adds pills to the half-full whiskey bottle, hoping that the thief comes and takes a drink of the whiskey. His wife worries for the burglar and disapproves what her husband is doing. She tries to talk him out of it.
Resolution
Judson's wife goes to tell Alec's wife about the poisoning of the whiskey. Judson realizes that his boots are outside on the table, on the porch. Alec starts walking up to the lake cabin.
Judson goes outside to retrieve his boots, leaving the cupboard door open. As he goes to grab them, he trips over an acorn, which causes him to hit his head on the hard table, falling unconscious.
Alec is there when Judson kind of comes to, offering some whiskey from the cupboard to hopefully wake Judson up. From what we can guess, this actually kills Judson.
