Texte du Storyboard

  • Good vs EvilPiggy vs Jack
  • By; Ellen Nee and Bella Martinelli
  • "You're talking too much... Shut up fatty" (21)
  • Piggy is just trying to help Ralph get things organized and Jack is calling him names based on his appearance.
  • "I got the conch so let me speak" "The conch doesn't count on top of the mountain so shut up" (42)
  • Jack represents the evil because he always wants to instigate and he has a need for power. Since Piggy is the voice of reason, he always is trying to find the good in the situation but is pushed down by Jack.
  • "The bolting look came into his blue eyes. He took a step, and able at last to hit someone, stuck his fist into Piggy's stomach"(71)
  • This is the part when Jack had let the fire go out. Jack and the hunters are being blamed for the fire. Piggy was trying to explain why they always need the fire going at all times.
  • "The rock struck Piggy a glancing blow from chin to knee"(181)
  • This is the biggest point of good versus evil in the book. This was an intential harm and although Jack didn't know what was going to happen he instigated it and knew what could happen. Piggy was showing "good" by trying to get the boys to stop fighting.
  • "Visusly, with full intention, he hurled his spear at Ralph"(181)
  • This is the perfect example of 'good vs evil' because even after Piggy is dead Jack is still so power hungry that he tries to kills Ralph, his competition.
