- There is nothing more I can do here to further my education or earn more money, how am I suppose to support my family!?
- I know! I will go to the city! I will fill out an application to go to university and get a part time job!

- Jessica lives on a farm in the Limpopo, but things on the farm aren’t going to well, she isn’t satisfied with her education and poor income. Productivity is low and Jessica must find a way to help .
- I’m finally on my way to the city, I think I made the right decision, this will definitely benefit me!
- Jessica was top in her class at the school that they went to, so she applied for university. She was given a 75% scholarship and the rest they able to pay. It was decided that she would leave in two weeks to get settled in to her apartment and find a job.
- Hi, I’m Jessica, I just moved here from Limpopo!

- Two weeks were up it was time for her to leave, she had an apartment ready for her in Johannesburg and she had 3 job interviews lined up for her and she was ready to move to the city.
- I’m so excited for my first day on the job!
- Jessica has decided to move for many reasons including better job and educational opportunities
- We’re to old to keep maintaining this farm.
- Jessica made a friend, her roommate at university this is helping her pay the rent, she’s come to find the city and the apartment she’s in is much more sanitary and healthy. she also has an interview at her first job opportunity.
- All the young people have ,over to the city and there is no one to help us maintain this farm
- Look at this another shop has closed down the street!
- Jessica got the job and is now being paid minim wage for her job as an assistant her studies are going extremely well and she’s very happy that she made the right decision to move to the city
- Oh no! Where are we going to shop now?
- They’re to old to maintain the farm and as a result the crops slowly started dying and things such as soil erosion started occurring
- all the young people have moved and they left the elderly people behind who are now unfit to do their jobs on the farm.
- Because the old people started moving to urban areas because they could nolonger maintain their farms, the farms are not being run and therefore less products are being put into the shops and shops are losing business and closing down
