- Any and all scientists that could get there hands on the new technology such as the telescope and the microscopewould take the opportunity.
- This is going to be the next big idea in science!
- Scholeiden
- He examined items such as flowers, and even his own teeth to observe and justify that all things are made up of cells.
- Using my homemade microscope I can now observe cells in objects such as my own teeth.
- Leeuwenhoek
- These little cell chambers looked just like rooms that Monks would sleep in and Hooke made the comparison.
- Matthias Scholeiden who was a botanist looked under a microscope and realised that all plants and living thigs are made of cells.
- All of these great minds led to the discovery that cells are formed from other cells.
- ...And that all things are made up of cells...
- Therefore creating the CELL THEORY!
