- Chapter 1Victor tells his father that he will marry Elizabeth in 2 years but for now he will be gone with henry
- Chapter 2Victor and Henry make it to Scotland, and Henry goes of to work on his creature
- “Your hours will pass in dread and misery, and soon the bolt will fall which must ravish from you your happiness for ever. Are you to be happy, while I grovel in the intensity of my wretchedness? Beware; for I am fearless. You shall repent of the injuries you inflict.
- Chapter 3Victor destroys the second creature and he is told that since he broke the promise he will be put through misery
