- The Germans forced the africans to grow cotton. they grew tired and belived their ancestors told them to revolt
- i had a dream our ancestors spoke to me we need to take charge

- In 1905, the africans belived that the 'magic water"(maji Maji) would protect them from the germans when fighting
- Dear our faithful ancestors please protect us and bless us with this water
- the Africans atempt to attack they were armed with speheres while the germans were armed with machine guns
- unfortunately the africans spheres and maji maji water was no match for the germans
- After the war the German solders created government reforms to ensure the africans wouldn't rebel again.
- these reforms included modifications made to both comply with the demands of the africans and the germans.
