- talking about events they have to ented in order to keep their social staus
- dear, my fellow ladies aren't you tired of being home all the time? our roles are to just be wives that cook and clean, don't you want power? don't you want to do more outside of the house?
- this is a gathering of higher-ranked women talking about what their roles are as wives and women of society
- them realizing that they don't have the freedom like men and it's unfair that they don't have their own money and their own lives
- Lidia righting a paper to other women on this matter and wanting to make a change
