- Mei Lu found out that after 20 years, Manuel decided to go back home. Though he isn't alone, he brought with him his wife Consuelo.
- Climax
- Mei Lu and Carlos's mother disliked the fact that Consuelo was "Big and black." They thought it was an embarrassment to their ancestors.
- Falling Action
- Mei Lu feels unwell by the fact that Manuel and Consuelo have a healthy relationship with each other. They insisted to Carlos to take them somewhere else.
- Resolution
- At the restaurant, while Manuel was eating he suddenly choked on his food and Consuelo came to his rescue. Carlos was shocked on how Consuelo saved him and how she did her healing.
- Carlos received news that Mei Lu had a stroke and was sent to the hospital. Consuelo asked Carlos what happened and he told her the truth. She offered to help Mei Lu and they rushed to the hospital.
- After Consuelo healed Mei Lu she came out of the hospital with a blank face. Later on Manuel announced that Consuelo has passed away. They mourned for her death and Manuel left the country once more.
