- battle 1: Marathon: the Persians wanted control of greece to they wanted a war with them but the Athenians refused an dhid in the hills so the Persians decided to pack up their things but then the Atheienes came down from the hills and caught the soldiers off guard so then the Athenians surrounded them on three sides but when the Persians tried to run to the ship the Athenians attacked from behind and won the marathon battle
- battle 2: Thermopylae:sparta wanted to stop the persians from gaining control of greece so they wanted a war/battle but there was a problem sparta got REALLY outnumbered. so the spartans forced persian into a narrow valley between two mountains and then 300 spartans fought them and killed 1/4 of persian men but then persia was helped by a traitor and then they found a way around the mountain so they could attack from both sides then they killed the remaining spartans with arrows
- Battle 3: Salamis: the Athenians wanted to stop persia form gaining control of greece but the athenians were[ outnumbered so the athenians forced persi into a narrow land masses and then fought them using their navy then the persian ships could not stand up against the Athenian navy so they ended up retreating so greece had won.
