- Yes Ma'am, The Fundamental unit of matter is ATOM. Their components are ELECTRON CLOUD, ATOMIC ORBITALS, ELECTRON (NEUTRON, ATOMIC NUCLEUS, PROTON). MOLECULES, it is a term used to refer to 2 or more atoms which are bonded. And IONS are atoms or molecules that have charges.

- What is the 3 types of FORMULA
- (MOLECULAR, STRUCTURAL, EMPIRICAL) - Molecular formula gives the actual number of atoms of each element in a molecule of the compound. -Structural formula, it uses lines to represent the chemical bonds and shows how the atoms in a molecule are connected to each other. -Empirical formula, giving the proportions of the elements present in a compound but not the actual numbers or arrangement of atoms.

- You can distinguish the difference between ionic and covalent by the elements that each side contains. COVALENT COMPOUNDS contains ONLY non-metals while IONIC COMPOUND contain a metal and a non-metal
