- yes like how our government should be set up
- now that weve have heard both pans its time to vote
- welcome everyone to our constitutionalconvention we have a lot to discuss.
- yes i have a plan
- i have a plan called the virginia plan
- now that we are all here does anyone have any ideas??
- i have a plan called the new Jersey plan
- the Virginia plan is a plan with 3 branches of government
- the legislative branch would have 2 houses
- the states with big ger populations will have more reppres entation in congresss
- only 1 houses in the legislative branch
- all states will have equal representative no matter the population
- the new jersey plan will have 3 branches of government.
- 50% voted Virginia plan
- 50% voted new Jersy plan
- yeah that sounds like a great idea
- since we cant agree on a plan lets make a plan that compromises points from both plans
- OK
- so lets include the 3 branches and the legislative branch having two houses
- and all i really care about is including is the point about all states having equal representtation.
- that sounds like a plan we will call it the great compromise
