Texte du Storyboard

  • He, he, he
  • We open with a wide shot is view. We feel that everything is calm and normal - nothing is going to happen.
  • We now see dramatic irony in use. The audience can see the branch falling and the snow storm building while Elizabeth is oblivious. This creates the suspense to start. She thinks nothing is happening because she is in her human world where everything is 'controlled'.
  • The dramatic irony increases as she is on her phone whilst the audience is shouting: Leave, Leave, Leave! The only sound we hear is the sound of Elizabeth giggling at her screen.
  • This panel uses a close up shot. We see that Elizabeth is shocked that nature can do anything against her. She also only noticed this when her phone got knocked. The only sound we hear now is the wind howling.
  • In this panel, the view switches to a mid-view shot of Elizabeth. She has lost her phone and car. She is looking small when covered by nature. Visually Elizabeth herself looks small and the twigs take on the salient point.
  • Elizabeth has been running around in circles and is stuck. This panel uses visual juxtaposition and is taken with a long shot. This contrasts with panel 1.
