- He was a friend of yours in days of old. And suddenly, last night, the man was slain.... There came a privy thief, they call him Death.
- The three of us together now. Hold up your hands, like me, and we'll be brothers. In this affair, and each defend the others, and we will kill this traitor, Death I say!
- Say where he is or you shall pay for it!
- Towards that grove, I left him there today. Under a tree, and there you'll find him waiting.
- The three rioters decided that one man shall go into town to get food. The youngest drew the longest and was sent into town while the others protected their new found treasure.
- The youngest goes into town and decides he will keep the gold to himself and poison the others. While he is in town, the older two men plot to stab the young man when he gets returns and spilt the gold 50/50.
- When the young man returned, he was stabbed to death. The two men celebrated their new treasure by drinking the wine the youngest poisoned, and they both died.
