  • Teacher remember my research project? I was thinking on going with interviews but I’m worrried about analyzing all that data. It is going to be a really hard job to do.
  • Oh! Nothing to worried about, anyone can do it. I’ll give a step bystep guide and you’ll see it will be really easy.
  • Look, this is it.
  • Always keep in mind what you are trying to find out and why. Go back to your interview guide and organize infor in a chart, so you can look at the responses to each topic and specific question individually.
  • It is important, during transcription and translation, not to “cleanup” the grammar and to pay attention to what they mean but also where they come from and imply.
  • Each response categories has one or more associated themes that give a deeper meaning to the data. Different categories can be collapsed under one main over-arching theme.
  • Oh, I see…
  • Findings validity is enhanced when they are confirmed by more than one“instrument” measuring.
  • Determine how those people/communities will be affected by findings results. The aim is to disseminate the results carefully, sensitively, and in conjunction with those affected.
  • Backing up what you find with information from different sources validates your work and turn it into something actually likely to be used and taken into serious account.
  • Simple, right?
  • Why no one ever showed me this before? Thankyou so much.
  • Yes! It is really important that findings are as accurated as possible to obtain real answers. That way it does make an impact on the target community and actually change people’s lifes.
  • I think I can do a great job now.
  • Six months later...
  • New findings at University school!
