- Hey man, before we hang out I just want to let you know I just got out of prison yesterday after 4 years?

- Really Mark that is awesome. There is actually a supreme court case that can prove it. I believe it is the Roper v. Simmons case. You should head down to the court right now with your friend and talk to those judges
- Hey dad you know how I was in jail for 4 years? Our eighth amendment protects me from this.

- Hello, your honor. I was here about 4 years a my name is Mark Wilbur. I was put in jail for 4 years for stealing a $4 car. My 8th amendment protects me from this and want money back for all of the years I was in jail for. I was in a adult prison for all of those years and according to the Roper v. Simmons case that is not allowed.
- Ok , so in the 8th amendment it is illegal for cruel or unusual. In the Roper v. Simmons case kids under the age of 16 are not allowed to go to an adult prison. I am sorry for your trouble's. For 4 years in a adult prison you should got probally around 1 million dollars for a 12 year old. Again sorry for your troubles.
