Texte du Storyboard

  • Siddhartha Guatama was a special child, protected strongly by his parents. They wished for him to never see suffering. He was sheltered in a perfect life with no sight of natural sufferings.
  • He always thought about the outside world and when he was 29, he ventured to the outside, real world. He didn't know what to expect because all he had seen was perfect and healthy.
  • He had then seen the real world, his first experience of suffering. He came across an injured man, an old man and a dead man.
  • Siddhartha became Buddha and discovered that the answer to end all suffering was to end desires. Later on, he preached his teachings, the 4 noble truths, the eightfold path and the Middle Path.
  • After witnessing these sufferings, Siddhartha searched for a way to end all sufferings. Through the forests and alongside others, he was unsuccesful searching for a solution.
  • He then decided to meditate under a tree until he found the solution to end all suffering. He had reached enlightenment after 49 days of meditation.
  • The Buddhism religion and community began to grow with more systems involved. This new religion would also reject the exclusive caste system.
