But what if you could shave off a few minutes from your shower time? Alternatively, why not merely half-fill your bath instead of completely filling it? This might save you not just water, but also time and money on your heating expenses.
  • INVEST IN WATER SAVING APPLIANCES
  • SHARE WHAT YOU LEARNED!

  • If you’ve done everything, but your water bills are still high, leaky plumbing could be the problem. Keep a close eye on your utility bills. And get your plumbing checked and fixed to reduce water wastage.
  • Leaks in toilets and sinks can waste up to 100 gallons of water a day
  • Buying water-efficient appliances can decrease your daily water usage by at least 20%!
  • If you prefer longer showers, choose low-flow shower heads rather than high-flow shower heads. They have lower water pressure and hence less water flow, but nevertheless provide a nice shower. Toilets with ultra-low flush (ULF) are another alternative. They use less water per flush while maintaining the same level of performance.
  • Conserving water is a group effort! Tell others what you have learned!
