  • The correct way to solve an equation like this is to first eliminate the fractions by multiplying all terms with the common denominator or multiplying with each of the denominators,.. then eliminate the brackets with the use of distributive law and after that, you should collect the like terms, isolate the variable, and then solve for the variable.
  • 1. -3/4(m+3)=4/5(3m-2) = 4x(-3)/4(m+3)=4/5(3m-2)x4 =(-3) (m+3)x5=4/5(3d-2)4x5 =-15(m+3)=16(3m-2) =-15m-45=48m-32 = -15m-48m=45-32 = -63m=13 m= -13/63
  • I have also realized that you have not collected like-terms, or perhaps in this case have not shown the work for it. If this were a test, you would have gotten marks cut off for this as one does not know how you got the answer
  • 1. -3/4(m+3)=4/5(3m-2) =4x(-3)/4(m+3)=4/5(3m-2) =(-3) (m+3)x5=4/5(3m-2) =-15(m+3)=4/5(3m-2) =-15m-45=2 2/25m-(-1 1/5) m= -2 43/61
  • I have realized that you have made 2 mistakes. The first one is that, in the first line you have not eliminated the fractions on both sides, instead, have done it to one side.
  • The end!!
