- My name is Nathan and I will be talking about nuclear energy. When nuclear energy is made atoms are split apart (fission) or connected (fusion) which requires a lot of force. this force generates a LOT of heat. that heat is used to boil water into steam to spin turbines and generate electricity.
- Hi, my name is Matt. I will be discussing hydroelectric power. Hydroelectric power is the power created using running water. The rushing water moves through a dam, which is fitted with turbines to spin when the water goes past. the turbines spinning is then converted into electricity.
- WELL, HYDROELECTRIC ENERGY IS BETTER BECAUSE UNLIKE NUCLEAR ENERGY, IT DOESN'T PRODUCE TOXIC WASTE DOES IT?
- YOU CAN'T BE TALKING ABOUT DAMAGING THE ENVIRONMENT. AND BESIDES HYDROELECTRIC ENERGY WILL NEVER RUN OUT SO THERE. CASE CLOSED, HYDROELECTRIC ENERGY IS BETTER.
- WELL YEAH BUT DAMS NEEDED TO PRODUCE HYDROELECTRIC ENERGY DAMAGE THE ENVIRONMENT
