- Today we are taking a trip down the river to explore the 4 types of economy!
- Command Economy
- Well sure Lucky Lizard! This part of the river follows a command economy, that means resources are owned and controlled by the government, which in this case is me!
- Hi Mr.Bear, I can see you are the leader of the top of the river! Can you tell me what its like up here?
- Thank you for the information! Next stop the middle of the river!
- Of course, In the middle of the river we follow market economy, this means resources are owned and controlled by the people of the country. I'm just a normal fish amongst the rest.
- Market Economy
- Hi Nemo, I'm traveling down the river to learn about the different economy's, so can you tell me more about yours?
- Thank you so much Nemo for the facts! Now I'm headed to the end of the river!
- Lucky Lizard is deciding to go on an adventure down the river to learn about the different types of economy.
- Mixed Economy
- Hi Foxy, I am making my way down the river, learning about the economy's! Can you tell me about yours?
- Lucky Lizards first stop is at the top of the river where he talks to Mr.Bear, he represents the government. He talks about his economy and how its like.
- Traditional Economy
- Thank you Mr.Octi! That completes my day of travel!
- Hello Mr.Octi, I have gone through the river asking about different economy, want to give me some info on yours?
- Lucky Lizard then heads down the river to the middle where he talks to Nemo, who represents just a normal person in his community. He talks about what the economy is like at this part of the river.
- The End!
- That was a fun day of adventures! But after all that information I think its time to come home!
- Lucky Lizards next stop is at the bottom of the river where he meets Foxy. Foxy represents a leader that's still under control of the government. He shares what economy he follows.
- Yes! At this part of the river we follow a mixed economy. This means there is a combined elements of command and market economy's. In this case, I lead my business but the government pays for the building!
- Thank you Foxy, next and final stop...the ocean!
- Lucky Lizards last stop is into the ocean where he meets Mr.Octi. He doesn't represent anyone, because his economy is the same as it has been for years. He shares what it means.
- Why sure, out here in the ocean we follow the traditional economy. That means goods and services are produced the way it has always been. My family has been out here for generations and we still do our own thing!
- After Lucky Lizards long trip down the river, he decides to go back home to the desert.
