- While the proletariat is a main consumer of sugar in modern society, sugar has been a necessity for all classes since the 19th Century. This event could host all classes and foster our mutual preferences for sugar.
- I suppose you are correct. Perhaps this whimsical environment is signified and enhanced by sugary foods.

- I believe so. Sugar has also replaced many natural alternatives to sweeteners out of its low cost and higher utility which may explain why there is so much!
- Sugar has taken over! It is a category of the world that represents the globalized time we are living in

- It has taken over, but it has also proved essential in our society as a condiment, preservative, and a medicine.
