- This slave has worked his way to the end to get his freedom. So this was a big struggle for change.
- Brown v. Board of Education
- Fredrick Douglas was a slave for many years before he could give this speech to people about how slaves should be treated as normal people. So this represents how it was very difficult for him to escape from his slave holder and present this so people can feel the pain of slavery.
- Social Dilemma
- Abe Lincoln had won the second term of the election so he will be president for even longer and more great decisions to come. I'm not really sure how this deals with change, but I'm guessing it has something to do with his decisions with ending slavery. But that was a struggle because not everybody agreed with his decision.
- This talked about the struggle between segregation in black communities. The struggle in this text would be trying to convince the court to rule out segregation between blacks and whites. This was a difficult change becuase the court ruled that there should be segregation at first, but changed later to date.
- I'm not sure how this documentary fits in with this unit, but I'm guessing this struggle would be because of how addicting it is to stay on our phones al the time. And the struggle to that would be to stay off our phones which would be a very difficult change.
