- John Locke was having a normal day in town and suddenly he stumbled upon a time machine.
- Wow! A time machine? I'd better investigate...
- John steps through the time machine and arrives in 2015.
- This is much different than my time. I wonder if they use separation of powers in their government. I will have to identify the social contract of this time
- Hello? Who are you?
- John is about to go explore, but he runs into someone who can tell him all about today's government
- Sure! Sha'll we travel back to your time?
- My name is John Locke and I have traveled here from the 1600's. If you don't mind, I would like to ask some questions about your current government?
- Yes!
- They traveled back to John's time and John explained to the man his philosophy of separation of powers. The man knew what he was talking about because that is his form of government
- I have an idea for the government, separation of powers,
- We have that! There's legislative, executive, and judicial.
- John also had another though and the man explained that to him too.
- I think it would also be a good idea to have a ultimate or supreme being as the face of the government to construct morals
- We do have that! It's called deism, the ultimate being is generally known as God.
- John is satisfied with how the future looks so he says goodbye to the stranger he met
- You did! I guess the future looks good so I'll use laissez-faire and let things take their course.
- I'd better get back to my time now, but it was awesome to meet you! I hope I could answer all of your questions.
