- P-Pony- I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hit you!!! Come back!!!!!
- Ponyboy is coming out of the movies and is going to go home when he see's a red Corvair following him. He didn't like it so he speeds up and the Corvair speeds up too. A gang of Socs jump out of the car and one with blonde hair flipped out his switchblade and asked "Need a haircut greaser?" The gang comes running and defends Ponyboy and makes the Socs scared.
- Dally was talking and putting his feet on Marcia and Cherry's chair and making them uncomfortable. Johnny stood up to them and told him to leave the girls alone. Marcia and Cherry were grateful for Johnny and told them they can sit with them. Two-Bit came along and scared Johnny by acting like one of the Socs
- Darry hits Ponyboy and it startles him because no one in his family has ever hit him before, he runs out of the house and back to the lot with Darry yelling after him. He told Johnny that they had to run away. They run until their sides hurt and then Pony sits on the curb and starts crying. He would go home but he wouldn't talk to Darry.
