Dont cry Rezonia everything will be alright, the boss cant just dismiss you just like that because you have a proof that you went to a doctor. You can go and complain to a Trade Union.

Morning, Im Rezonia from AVBOB I work as a Administator there and I came to lay a complaint.
The employer fires an employee without hearing why she was absent, and the employee is trying to explain why she was absent and she even stated that she has a doctors certificate but the employer dont want to listen to that and thats unfairly dismiss.

Im being fired at work because I was absent yesterday, I had an emergency my child was sick and I had to take her to a doctor. I did tell that to my boss but he said he dont want to listen to me and he fired me.
Rezonia is crying and feeling helpless since she is fired, but her colleague is here to comfort her and advising her she must not just leave this matter without a fight, she must go to Trade Union offices to lay a complaint.
Thats is unfairly dismiss, our role as trade unions is to help workers that are voiceless to their employers. I will take this matter to CCMA and we will give you a feedback.

Rezonia is telling the spokesperson her complaint and it seems like the the spokesperson is convinced that Rezonia did not do anything wrong because she has a doctors certificate to prove that.
The matter of Rezonia will be taken to CCMA and the spokesperson said to her she was unfairly dismissed because she had a doctors certificate and since the matter is still in process she must stay at home they will get back to her for feedback.
