- In 17789 the french people were suffering because of food shortages people were hungry and the king decided to raised their taxes. For many this the final straw and the revolution will begin

- The tennis Court Oath was taken inside a gymnasium which was the formation of a new government called The national Assembly this government declared to be Of the people not controlled by the king
- The king and Marie Antoninette were executed and the pople were freed from their rules
- Napoleon becomes first consul, giving people rights and working with the people to make France better
