- Rosalind, Skye, Jane, Batty Penderwick and their Dad arrive at their cottage after being lost for three hours.
- We are finally here in Arundel for our vacation.
- BATTY
- I call first choice for bedroom!
- SKYE

- JANE
- At the meeting of older Penderwick sisters (MOOPS), they decide that Jane will apologize for Skye.
- I'll apologize for you, Skye.
- MOOPS
- I bumped into a boy named Jeffrey when I sneaked into the garden today.
- You need to apologize Skye...
- Jane, Jeffrey, and Skye help to save Batty from the bull. They escape through an opening in the stone wall.
- Bull, come after me and leave Batty alone!
- Hurry! Hurry! Run...Jeffrey can't distract the bull much longer.
- It's okay Batty. I got you.
- Oh no, Mother, please, no. I don't want to be a General.
- Happy Birthday Jeffrey! Let's eat cake.
- Happy BIrthday Jeffrey!
- Did you kids see the portrait of my father on the wall? Jeffrey is going to be a General, too, right Jeffrey?
- Jeffrey rescues Batty again...this time from a car.
- Watch out, Batty! A car is coming. Get out of the road.
- I don't like your family. You are a bad influence on Jeffrey!
- Skye stands up for her family after Mrs. Tifton said mean things.
- Why would you say that? That is mean and rude.
- Jeffrey's Mom agrees that he does not have to go to Pencey Academy.
- Okay, you don't have to go.
- Mother, I don't want to go to Pencey.
- After 3 fun weeks, the Penderwicks leave Arundel.
- When can we come back?
- I don't want to leave Arundel, Dad.
- I will miss it.
