- Hello sir, how are you doing today?
- I am doing great today. How are you?
- I have been really good lately. I was just asking myself how this country became so great.
- Well kid. There are many things that make a country so great. One thing is having a good economy.
- How does a country get a good economy?
- First of all, when a country wants to get a good economy they want gain as much wealth as they can
- I think I am starting to understand. So then the country can buy more and more goods?
- That is right! The wealthier the country the more goods they can gain.
- What else causes an economy to grow?
- The standard of living is also a huge factor to the growth of an economy.
- The standard of Living? What does that mean?
- Let's walk and I explain everthing.

- So what does standard of living mean?
- Basically it means how well a communtiy is doing based on wealth and materials.
- Okay. So if our communities are able to provide for themselves, the economy is good?
- That is correct! The better people are living at home, the better the economy.
- I think I understand why our country is so great to live in now.
- That is good! We have to keep it that way for the next several generations.
- Of course. As a young adult I have to stay educated do what is right for our country.
- You are a good young man and the sky is the limit for you.
