- Members of the legislative branch do many things but simplify what we do; we make laws to keep citizens safe, represent people, and listen to their ideas to keep the citizens who live in the constituency protected. We also help make policies to make the place we live in better for everyone.
- I heard your class was learning about the branches of our government. So I decided to come here and talk to you about what I do and how I help the government

- What are some of the problems the members of the legislative branch face?
- That’s a good question, and the answer is the Question Period. This is where the members of the branch talk about their ideas and plans but sometimes are questioned by the opposing team. And during this time things can get rough.
- Are there any more questions before we wrap this up?
- What are some things that you think can be improved in the branch you work in?
- Sadly that’s all the time I have today, but I hope you all learned something new.
- That’s a tough but good question to ask but to answer your question I would start off by saying to represent your constituency well that way everyone is happy and feel safe, we can also start by proposing bills that can make Canada a safer place to live in, and another thing could be talking about problems that aren’t discussed like racism.
