- In Dairy Queen Dally tells Ponyboy and Johnny that Cherry is a spy now for the greasers, because she knew Bob was drunk when the killing happened. pg 85-86
- Help Help Help Help
- Towards the end of Dairy Queen Dally says," Nice job bleaching and cutting your hair because the cops printed your descriptions in the paper today." pg 86-87
- At the end of the Dairy Queen visit Johnny says," Were going back and turning ourselves in." While Dally thinks that is crazy, Ponyboy agrees because he knows Johnny didn't do anything wrong because the incident was self defense. pg 87
- "Oh glory, they realized the church is on fire. Pony boy and Johnny think the fire started when one of them dropped a lit cigarette.
- As they were waiting for the fireman they here a sound from the church. It was kids!! Once Ponyboy and Johnny heard the voices they went darting in through the inflamed window. Once they got all the kids out Ponyboy got out, but Johnny got stuck for a minute after a piece of timber fell on him. Then Johnny got pulled out. pg 91-93
- When Ponyboy finds out that Dally will be ok, but Johnny is in critical condition he is scared. Pony boy remember what happens, and once he finds out about Johnny he starts to demand to see him. pg 96-99
