Where can we look for litter for our project that is harmful to wild life?
We collected a glass bottle that would be harmful if it broke, some fishing line, that could wrap around a fish or a bird, and a plastic cup that an animal can get its head stuck in, and plastic rings that go around coke cans.
We can collect litter at the bay by my house, after school!
Ok, our group will meet there after school!
I found some fishing line
I found the plastic rings for a 6 pack of cokes
TRASH
I found a glass bottle and a plastic cup!
We think so to!
Now I think the cup and glass are least harmful, maybe a 3, the fishing line maybe a 6, and the coke plastic rings would be most harmful because any animal can get stuck in those and be trapped.
Manufacturers can use biodegradable products for packing and supplying, people can cut the soda rings to prevent animals from getting stuck, and putting their trash into trash cans or recycling bins!
Everything is glued on so it wont fall off!
Great job, what can we do to lesson the litter pollution and the effects on the animals?
