- When I got to New York, I checked into the Edmont Hotel and then headed down to a bar, I tried to convince the waiter that I were an adult and I could drink. he wasn't convinced, so I just got a coke.
- When I got back to the hotel, the elevator operator offered to send a prostitute up to my room. I accepted but when she got there I had changed my mind about it and tried to start a conversation instead. But she wasn't interested, so she left and I still had to pay.
- When I got to New York, I got a cab to take me to the Edmont Hotel, on the ride there I tried to start a conversation with the cab driver, I asked where the ducks in central park go when the lagoon freezes, he was uninterested.
- I decided to call my former English teacher, Mr Antolini, and he invites me over to his place. He tries to comfort me about my future but I was too tired to talk. He makes a place for me to sleep but I get woken up by him stroking my forehead. I quickly left from his place as soon as I could. I thought I trusted him.
- I sent my sister a note while she was in school that I'd be leaving home for good and that we should meet for lunch. When she arrives she asks me to bring her with me, but I couldn't. I decided to take her to the carousel and I got her a ticket to ride it. I was so happy to see my sister happy that I had almost cried.
