Texte du Storyboard

  • As a baby, Moses was put into a basket, to prevent him from getting killed by the Egyptians. Moses' mother was a Hebrew and the Egyptians wanted to kill all the Hebrew babies so that the Hebrews wouldn't get too powerful.
  • Moses floated from where his mother put him in the basket to the palace of the Pharaoh and his wife. The Pharaoh's wife just happened to be outside and spotted the baby. She named him Moses.
  • Moses learned that he wasn't the Pharaoh and his wife's true child and that the Pharaoh killed Hebrew babies. Moses also found out that he was Hebrew. So, he ran away from the Egyptian Palace after accidentally killing a slaveowner. God appears to Moses in a burning bush, God tells Moses to lead his [God's] people out of slavery in Egypt to the Promised land. Moses accepts.
  • Moses met Rameses, but they were on two different sides. Ramses decided that he would not be the weak link and he said that his people’s work will be doubled thanks to Moses. The plagues started. God told Moses to raise his staff and step into the water. Moses obeyed, and stepped into the water, turning the water to blood. This is the first plague - the Plague of Blood.
  • One after another, the plagues came. The Plague of Frogs came after the Plague of Blood. Then was the Plague of Lice, the Plague of Flies, the Plague of Murrain, the Plague of Boils, the Plague of Hail, The Plague of Locusts, the Plague of Darkness, and finally, the Death of the Firstborn. In this plague, the Pharaoh's son died, and the Pharaoh, overcome with grief, finally relented and told Moses to take his people and leave the land of Egypt.
  • Moses took his people to the Red Sea, where God told him to raise his staff and part the sea. Moses obeyed, and the Israelites crossed the sea on the path that Moses made. As they were crossing, halfway there, Rameses' army found them, and with horses and weapons, they followed the Israelites. Once all the Israelites crossed the sea, God made the sea collapse and fall on Ramses' army. Ramses was saved but left on a high rock. He called for his brother. Moses, despite not hearing him, said, "Goodbye, brother."
