- Lennie is thanking George for saving him after George pushed him into the River even though he can't swim.
- " Why can I never find you for all I know you are cheating on me with Slim."
- Candy is saying he doesn't want Carlson to shoot his dog because he has had him for so long.
- I can never ever find her I don't want her to leave me for him.
- Is this my fault did I chase her away does she really want slim?
- Slim is being a natural born leader and he is handsome he is putting tar on the mules foot that Crooks warmed up for him.
- "Why are you laughing big guy?"
- Curly and his wife arguing because they don't have trust in each other like they should.
- Curly is angry because he doesn't want his wife to be with someone else.
- Curly got mad at Lennie because he was laughing because he didn't know any better so Curly wanted to fight him.
