Texte du Storyboard

  • Yup, that’s a pure example of another characteristic of culture - it is gratifying and idealistic. Why? Because our needs as a person were fulfilled in cultural ways.
  • Do you see those people at the altar?
  • Yes. That’s also a characteristic of culture. In fact, culture is social since it is a product of behavior - a product of society, and can be developed through social interaction. So that’s why, we as people should communicate and associate with other people to acquire culture.
  • Oh, right! But look at them. They are interacting with each other, those interactions can also develop culture, am I right?
  • You mean those couple?
  • Well, as what our teacher mentioned. Culture is cumulative and continuous. It can change under certain circumstances since no culture remains constant. In simple words, it changes yes, but subjected to only slow but constant variation. So yeah, I think people who migrates can change their culture and adapt to the culture they’ve been migrated on.
  • In that sense, culture is also dynamic I guess.
  • But what do you think about those Filipinos who migrated to other countries, do you think they still have the same culture as what they have when they’re here in our country?
  • And so as me, I really enjoyed discussing this one to you. Go share it with others too, no problem. Until our next discussion or maybe a little sharing also? Hahaha.
  • Thank you Aya for such a meaningful discussion with you. I’ve learned so much from you, I want to share it with others, too!
  • Yes, I’m looking forward to it! Bye, thank you again.
