- Troy cheats and gets a woman pregnant while married to Rose. Im gonna be a daddy. Im gonna be somebody's daddy (Wilson 63) Troy is admitting on cheating n his wife. There marriage is at stake and Rose feels betrayed.

- Troy's aggression in Fences acts like a barrier, pushing his loved ones away and threatening the stability of his family life. In Fences Rose explains Rose: “Troy…you’re hurting my arm! Let go!” (Wilson 68). Rose is showing us that Troy's actions and words are really causing her pain, both physically and emotionally. It's a big moment that lets us see just how much Troy's behavior is damaging their relationship. This is showing the characterization beetwen the two.
- What does the character think about
- Troy thinks about football alot. and wants to pursue that career. Troy:“You a bigger fool than I thought.. to let somebody take away your job so you can play football” (Wilson 38). Troy confronts Cory about his aspirations to play college football. Troy insists that Cory should prioritize his responsibilities at home and work, rather than pursuing his dreams of playing sports.
