- Brian is a 13 year old boy who has divorced parents which is the reason he's going on a airplane to visit his dad. Earlier his mom was in the car with him and gave him a hatchet which is basically a small axe that can be used to chop trees and start fires. Brian takes his luggage ad boards the plane
- After takeoff the Pilot's arm started to hurt but Brian thought nothing of it but a little later the pilot started to say that his chest was pulling apart and had a heart attack and died. Not knowing how to control the plane Brian crashed and was all alone by himself in the Canadian forest with only his hatchet
- As Brian realized his hatchet was a advantage to him he used it to make a shelter, fire , and used it to defend himself like when a bear came after him same with he moose. Brian knew he couldn't survive without food so he used the hatchet to make a bow and arrow to shoot fish bunnies and fool birds but there was many mistakes some of them almost killed him for example throwing sand at a skunk and it sprayed him almost blinding him also wasting time making a fish spear that didn't work
- Brian thought nothing worse could happen but it got WAY worse. A large tornado came and destroyed everything like his shelter , bow an arrow , etc the only good thing was that the tail of the plane was sticking up and he remembered that there was food there so he decided to take a look after the Tornado calmed down.
- Using his hatchet he broke in the plane and found what he called "treasures" like the food he knew about but also a gun and a emergency transmitter. He instantly ate the food, then he flipped the emergency transmitter a few times, nothing happen but it was a good thing he did.
- Because Brian flipped it a few times a pilot picked up his signals and saved him, Brian was there for more then 50 days he was so happy. His parents felt so bad they almost came back together but everything went back to normal
